About Lake Texoma

Created in 1944 by the construction of Denison Dam on the Red River, Lake Texoma covers more than 89,000 acres with roughly 580 miles of shoreline. On the Texas side, it extends across Grayson County and offers some of the best-developed marinas, state parks, and recreational facilities in North Texas.
