About Lake Jocassee

Created in 1973 through the construction of the Jocassee Dam, Lake Jocassee spans over 7,500 acres and reaches depths of nearly 300 feet. Fed by cool mountain rivers, its waters are famously clear, making it a sought-after spot for divers, anglers, and boaters alike.
